EYF (Employability of Youth Fund) is a self-styled fund where 10% of the proceeds are saved, and the accrued amount is utilized to sponsor Youth to undergo skills training in order to become employable.

The company
At Été Coffee, our work is shaped by three core pillars: research, social impact, and craft. Through research, we explore and improve the coffee ecosystem with a focus on quality and sustainability. Our social initiatives invest in people by supporting education, training, and local growth. And through our craft, we create meaningful coffee experiences that reflect care, knowledge, and connection from farm to cup.
1. RESEARCH
Launched on the 28th of December 2019. The set up is primarily designed in line with the company's vision to establish a state-of-the-art coffee lab, a center of excellence for research and innovation, for testing, sampling, research and education.
Été Coffee is proud to own four Research and Observation farms. The main objective of the farm is to engage farmers, scholars, coffee professionals and researchers to have a hands-on experience of the ever evolving dynamics of the terrior, thereby studying and documenting to develop best practices for future training and research.
With years of active research and documentation on coffees of Nagaland, a Coffee Knowledge Repository and Library was set up. This will foster a platform for knowledge sharing among planters, traders, coffee professionals and scholars.
2. SOCIAL INITIATIVE
EYF is Été Coffee's own self styled fund where 10% of the proceeds is accrued to sponsor youth from the region to undergo skills development training in order to become employable. So far 43 individuals have availed EYF.
ECLS is a self-funded social initiative of Été Coffee. With the given experience of 8 years working closely with the coffee growers in Nagaland from farm to cup, it has realized early on that building a quality control mechanism at the farm level is the way forward.
The Coffee Laboratory Services is based out of Kohima, Nagaland and has been in operation for the past 4 years. By 2030, it aims to contribute in making Nagaland a high-quality Specialty Coffee producing state at both local and global market. This will ensure optimum economic return from a minimum use of land. Hence improved socio-economic status, and will drastically reduce slash- and-burn of jungle used for subsistence farming.
CEP is a project under EML (Educate Motivate and Lead) Program, with its goal to Sensitize, Identify partners, Network with allied Professionals and thereby ensuring sustainable growth.
One of the five core values of Été Coffee is to seek justice for the given resources by fostering value addition sector locally and to enjoy its optimum benefit. Therefore it promote building market within the state/region by providing free consultancy services. It has helped build more than 24 cafes in Nagaland and Manipur, including two of Été Coffee's own.
3. BUSINESS
It all started from a small palm sized kitchen stove top roaster with an initial investment as ₹6400/-. It has now grown into a full fledged roastery and production house. Supplying its products to 24 cafes and a retail line for kitchen end users. The second Roastery is all set to meet the ever growing demand outside of the state.
It has two coffee breweries serving more than 30 different types of coffee beverages built from exclusively Naga Coffee, ranging from fancy manual brews to espresso based coffees including two of its originals.
The School offers eight different courses from plantation, greens, roasting, brewing, sensory, barista, latte art to cafe operation. Having completed 39 batches with
268 individuals trained from the school, it includes farmers, curer, cafe owners, scholars and baristas.
Événts by Été Coffee is a mobile coffee bar catering to the need of market outside coffee houses. It offers unlimited supply of coffee to all occasions at an affordable rate. Wedding, social gathering, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Launched on the 2nd of July 2022, it aims to offer a hassle free and easy and affordable access to all Specialty equipment from kitchen equipment to cafe and roastery.
